A project covering the different processes by which raw clay can be located, extracted, processed, and refined into usable feedstock for quality ceramics production.
Much of the local soil is heavy with clay, which often makes cultivation channeling as rainwater collects on the surface and drowns crops without the installation of proper drainage. It seems a shame that such a useful resource could be seen as only "matter out of place" rather than an abundance just waiting for organized recomposers to transform it into something useful and needed.
Outline the key processes needed to effectively identify, extract, and refine raw clay into stock material for high quality ceramics.
