A program is a collection of smaller projects that all share some core infrastructure element and/or practice.
e.g. the dye program is made up of the Dye Grow's Network, the Invasive Dyes Project, Food Waste Dyes Project, and Fungal Dyes Project. Each of these project has elements and skills that are distinct to them, but ultimately they all produce a dyestock that has to go through the same extraction and application process. Anyone who works on one of the projects inside this program is going to have an easier time shifting to another within the same program due to this shared underlying knowledge.
Different programs may overlap with each other on shared projects. (e.g. the Dye Program overlaps with the Mycology Program on the fungal dyes project)[1]
